1. Who we are
CashNest (“the App”) is a personal finance tracker for Android, distributed via Huawei AppGallery. The App is developed and published by MUHAMMAD YASIN (the “Developer”). This policy explains what information the App processes and what it does not do.

2. Core principle
Your financial data is stored locally on your device. No account is required. We do not operate a cloud database for balances, transactions, categories, budgets, goals, or notes, and we do not upload that content to our servers.
3. Data stored on your device
Depending on how you use the App, the following may be stored in the App’s private storage:
- Account names, types, currencies, and balances
- Transactions (expenses, income, transfers), titles, notes, and dates
- Categories, budgets, recurring templates, savings goals, and tags
- App preferences (theme, primary currency, lock settings, notifications preference)
- Optional app-lock credentials (PIN is stored only as a salted secure hash; never in plain text)
- Local backup or CSV files you choose to create
4. What we do not collect
- No user registration, email, or phone number is required
- No remote analytics, advertising, or behavioral profiling SDKs
- No crash-reporting service that transmits financial details
- No cloud sync of your finance ledger
5. Internet permission
The App may declare network permission for optional future in-app content (for example help pages or WebView content). Core finance features work offline and your transactions, balances, and settings are not uploaded as part of normal app use.
6. Backups and exports
You may export encrypted backups (optional password) or CSV files using the system document picker. Where those files are saved (device storage, email, cloud drive you choose) is under your control. We do not receive a copy unless you independently send one to support.
7. Notifications
If enabled, the App may show local notifications (for example recurring reminders). These are generated on-device and do not require a push-notification server for core functionality.
8. Biometrics
Optional biometric unlock uses the device platform biometric APIs. Biometric templates remain managed by the operating system; the App only receives success/failure results.
9. Children
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). Do not use the App to store another person’s sensitive financial information without authorization.
10. Changes
We may update this policy when the App’s privacy posture changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date on this page and, where appropriate, in-app notices.
